About Me

I'm a Salesforce Developer living in Southern California after finishing up my master's degree at the University of Central Arkansas where I played on the tennis team during undergrad. I've lived in six states, but am in love with SoCal and plan on making Orange County, California my home base. I frequent the Huntington Dog Beach,The Rinks for ice hockey (primarily Great Park Ice as goalie), and hiking spots around Orange County and the surrounding states with my pup. On Sundays, you'll find me with the five year olds at First Christian Church Huntington Beach before enjoying spending time at the beach or on the ice.

We are always looking for new places to hike and explore. My Australian Shepherd/Poodle mix, Drover, is almost 4 years old and still getting his feet under him as he takes on each adventure with enormous enthusiasm and that awkward doodle vibe. Having my little explorer by my side has truly enriched my life and broadened my experiences. We participate in dog agility and urban herding whenever we can plus lots of obedience classes at the Zoom Room in Huntington Beach. He is working hard to follow in Max's footsteps as a well rounded family dog and adventurer.

We take full advantage of our surroundings and attempt to venture somewhere we haven't been as often as possible. That attitude leads us on long camping trips that range from just a county away to crossing state and national borders. Our biggest road trip yet was a four week excursion from Southern California to Alaska and back covering over 10,000 miles with over 200 hours of driving. We won't stop there though. Getting this guy and moving out here have turned out to be some of the best decisions of my life!
